An old tried and true floriferous viburnum with a distinctively horizontal branching habit. Abundant pure white lacecap-like flowers adorn the horizontal branches in double rows in late spring, hence the name.  Flowers are non-fragrant. Depending upon pollination, ornamental red fruit may follow in late summer and fall and eventually matures to black. Fall color a respectable red-purple. Appreciates partial shade.
